Fitbit to Stop Stone Time 2, Stone Primary Upon Acquisition and Refund Backers: Report

The other day, it was described that Fitbit is looking to buy Pebble for as little as $40 million. Now, a brand new report sheds light on more details of the deal, and it looks just like the Pebble Time 2 and Pebble Core won’t ever hit the industry if that offer comes through.According to Bloomberg, this Fitbit and Pebble package is’impending’and that just 40 percent of the personnel will soon be retained – generally application engineers. This testifies more to Fitbit’s options to just purchase the application company, and let go off the electronics and products line. More over, the record states that the Pebble Time 2 and Pebble Key smartwatches will soon be terminated, and the cash is likely to be refunded to the crowdfunding backers. The smartwatches were crowdfunded on Kickstarter, and the Pebble Time 2 handled to improve $13 million.
